Welcome to our web home of poorly written sarcastic waffle about places we've been.
Iran – Shiraz
April 21, 2012Shiraz was the first major city we visited after Tehran and what a difference. It offered some interesting sites from mausoleums, museums, baths', gardens, gateways, mosques and bazaars. Each are interesting in their own way and also different to other cities. It is on the 'must see' or 'must visit' places in Iran and a pleasure, except for the night time walking detour, to wander around.

January 10, 2012A 2 week holiday was to prove that Iran is one of the friendliest places around. If you haven't visited the ancient sites of Leptis Magna and others, Persepolis would be one of the most impressive places to visit. Read on for more details of our 2 week adventure

January 12, 2012The northern states in Iran take you into its mountains. The warm climate disappeared to be replaced with gusty winds and overcast skies with a dash of rain for good measure.Although there was not a huge amount to see up north I really enjoyed the scenery and trip. July 16, 2011First stop on our misguided tour of Laos was Luang Prabang and it was to prove one of our favourite cities. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed and although not too many sights for an active tourist, there's enough to keep you occupied for a couple of days. Vang Vieng on the other hand is a miserable place due to the backpacker scum infestation behaving like debauched cultural voids.

December 12, 2010I've never been accused of being the sharpest knife in the drawer and the fact I decided to return to Kili for another round of stupid man vs Kili, proves the point. After succumbing to AMS the first time round, I said one day I would try again however when I did it would be the longer route...the Lomosho route. An opportunity to travel there on a semi private tour came up and I didn't hesitate to say 'yes'.

October 10, 2010Bhutan is a mountain kingdom nestled between India and China. I had wanted to travel here for some 20 years after hearing about it from my father. Thinking it would be unlikely to travel here soon, luck was on my side and travelled here with 5 friends in late 2010

You’ve found the site where nothing matters but travelling. It’s a basic site written by basic people with a healthy smattering of sarcasm and pics. If you like sarcasm, average intellect, poorly written waffle, pretend photographers, travel photography then this is the place for you….if not….well hit the Back button and get the hell out of Dodge as you’re not going to like it!
Our travel philosophy, in case anyone is remotely interested, is work to travel and travel to live. Work is but a means to end in this endeavour and if anyone has a way, obviously legitimate, to retire and only travel…let us know!
